Doris Point Lookout stood on the Clearwater National Forest in Clearwater County, Idaho, 19 miles east-northeast of Pierce.1 The Forest Service list places it in Section 11, Township 37 North, Range 8 East, and calls the site Doris Point (Butte).2

Firelookout.com and Idaho Fire Lookouts both date the structure to 1934 as an L-4 cab.1,3 The Forest Service list also describes an L-4 cab.2 The list marks 4,753 feet as the elevation of Doris Butte, so that figure may not describe the lookout itself.2

All three sources date its destruction to 1962.1,3,2 Idaho Fire Lookouts files the lookout in its St. Joe - Clearwater group and labels it hike-in.3

No source describes what remains at the site today, or whether the public can visit it.
