Lodge Point is in the Nez Perce National Forest, about 15 miles east-southeast of Kooskia.1,2 It lies in Idaho County,1 and the sources give its elevation as 4,761 feet.3,1 The Idaho County list gives its location as township 32 North, range 6 East, section 14.4 The FFLA's Idaho list places it at 46.11351, -115.67204.5

The sources agree that it was abandoned in 1950.3,1,2,4 Firelookout.com lists the site as gone,1 and so does the FFLA's Idaho list.5 Idaho Fire Lookouts files the abandoned site under its drive-up category.3

Firelookout.com and the FFLA list say the tower is gone, but none of the sources describes the site today or says whether the public may visit it.
