The Lunenberg Lookout is a 110-foot Aermotor tower in Lunenburg County, Virginia.1,2 The Register says it was built in the 1930s but gives no exact year.1 The Register spells the county "Lunenberg," while Wikidata uses "Lunenburg."1,2

A 2015 chapter report from the Forest Fire Lookout Association's Virginia group lists a "Lunenberg Tower" as private. The report says towers not yet on the Register would be submitted once their owners and history had been looked into.3 The Register added this tower on January 23, 2017.1

The association's Virginia list shows the tower as standing.4 The Register says the owner asked that the coordinates stay unlisted, so this account gives no location beyond the county.1 The sources read do not describe staffing, fires, or public access. Because the owner is private, anyone interested should ask first and should not climb the tower.
