Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Use the sign-up form on aacophilly.org, join the mailing list, or call the hotline at 215-934-2116 to ask about the next free class..

You need to sign up first.

What to expect

You can work at your own pace, and no art background is needed. The page does not say how long a class runs, what supplies are provided, or what each session covers, so call the hotline before your first visit.

Tips for your first visit

  • Check the studio hours first: open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and closed Wednesday and Sunday.
  • Find the studio at 112 North 8th Street, Suite 206, and look for the suite number on the building directory.
  • If you need a quiet space, ask ahead, since the page describes a quiet area only at past exhibits.
  • Ask what supplies to bring, since the page does not list them.

Newcomer welcome

Welcoming to newcomers (4 out of 5). Why we say this: The page says no art experience is needed for the free classes, and it gives a sign-up form and a phone line to start..
