Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Subscribe to the email updates through the link on holobiontlab.org, then come to the next open event, such as the off-grid solar workshop once its date is set..
What to expect
Events are one-off, hands-on sessions. The off-grid solar workshop covers the basics of how a small solar system works, and you build a small working system yourself. The site gives no cost or length for events, so ask through the contact page before you come.
Tips for your first visit
- Subscribe to the email list so you hear when the solar workshop date is set.
- The solar workshop is at Karakung Reef, which the event page says is reachable on the 34 trolley.
Newcomer welcome
Takes some effort for newcomers (2 out of 5). Why we say this: Events are listed publicly and an email sign-up is offered, but the site does not say how to register for an event or what one costs..
