Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: RSVP for an in-person meeting through the chapter's Discord event link, or use the registration link on the meeting listing to join online by Zoom..
What to expect
Meetings run in the evening. The May 2026 meeting ran from 7 to 9 pm, with 30 minutes of networking before talks that began at 7:30. The May session was a panel on interactive narrative design, and it took questions from the audience.
Tips for your first visit
- Arrive by 7 pm to catch the networking time before the talks.
- Enter the URBN Center at 3501 Market Street, Room 125, at Drexel University.
- Email IGDAPhilly@gmail.com if you are unsure how to register.
Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Meetings are free and open to the public with a posted way to register, but the chapter does not describe a newcomer or beginner program..
