Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Call 215-375-4558 to ask about free meals for students or adults 55 and older, or email info@jsjfoodbank.org about the youth after school programs..
Tips for your first visit
- Call before you go, since the site lists no office hours.
- Ask whether any meal site is running now; the group ran free summer meals for kids under 18 in 2025.
- The site also names a peer-led STEM program for youth, so ask about it if that interests your child.
Newcomer welcome
Takes some effort for newcomers (2 out of 5). Why we say this: The site lists free meals and youth programs and gives a phone and email, but no sign-up steps, hours or meal times, so the way in is unclear..
Cost and commitment
- Cost
- Free. The group describes its meals and programs as no cost.
