Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Email mantonstreetpark@gmail.com to ask about a plot or the next workday. No workday schedule is posted..
What to expect
No current visit details are posted. A 2015 profile described neighbors weeding and watering the beds on workdays, and the group also held a yearly block party at that time. Ask the garden what is happening now before you come.
Tips for your first visit
- Email the garden before you visit, because no workday schedule is posted.
- Ask about plot openings and the current fee, since the fee above comes from 2015.
Newcomer welcome
Takes some effort for newcomers (2 out of 5). Why we say this: The only listed contacts are an email address and a Facebook page, and no workday schedule or plot process is posted, so the way in is unclear..
