Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Fill in the membership application on the Membership page, then wait for the club to be in touch..

You need to sign up first.

What to expect

The site does not describe a typical meeting or volunteer shift. Full members get monthly social events, quarterly round tables, and monthly community giveback events, and the community days hand out school supplies, food, and clothes with games and raffles. The site does not say how long these run or who usually attends.

Tips for your first visit

  • Check the Events page for an RSVP link before a community day, since the site shows an RSVP button for them.
  • The site does not list meeting times, so ask the club for the youth group schedule before you apply.

Newcomer welcome

Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Community days are open to the public and the club has a clear membership form, but the club contacts you after you apply..

Cost and commitment
