Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Text or call 267-650-1757 to register for the next six-week beginner course or to join the waitlist..

Check with the group before you show up. You need to sign up first.

What to expect

A beginner series runs six weeks plus one make-up class, meeting once a week for about three hours in a group of no more than six. Clay, tools, firings and glazes are included, and you take home at least three finished pieces. Handbuilding is done at a table, sitting or standing.

Tips for your first visit

  • Pay in full before you register; cash, check, Venmo and Cash App are accepted.
  • The studio offers no refunds, so confirm the series dates before you pay.

Newcomer welcome

Welcoming to newcomers (4 out of 5). Why we say this: The beginner course page says no prior experience is needed and gives a text number to register or join the waitlist..

Cost and commitment
