Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Buy a day pass or concert ticket on the festival's tickets page, or sign up to volunteer through the volunteers page..
You can just show up.
What to expect
The festival is an outdoor, multi-day event with music on seven stages from 11 am into the evening, plus camping, crafts, food, and family activities. You can attend for a single day. Camping has its own arrival days and a wristband to enter, and a golf-cart shuttle runs on the grounds.
Tips for your first visit
- Read the parking and camping pages before you go, since the site is temporary and the ground is rough.
- Pets are not allowed, except licensed or registered service dogs.
- The FAQ says amplified instruments and drumming are not allowed.
- Camping ticket holders get staggered entry days, so check your ticket before you travel.
Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: The festival and concerts are open to anyone with a ticket, and volunteer committees name jobs for first-timers. The pages checked describe no beginner program..
Cost and commitment
- Cost
- Paid. Festival tickets cost money, with day passes, camping packages, and a VIP package. Society members get discounted festival tickets. Children under 5 enter free with an adult.
- How often
- Seasonal

- Partly wheelchair accessible

- Access notes
- ADA camping sites and ADA parking are inside the camping gate. A golf-cart shuttle (TramCart) runs on the concert and camping grounds. The ground is rough because the site is temporary.
