When and where
Walks, a book club and other social events are posted on the group's Heylo page, with a date on each event.
Does not meet on a regular schedule.
We do not have a meeting place for this group yet.
Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Open the group's Heylo page, pick a walk or social event from the upcoming list, and sign up there..
You need to sign up first.
What to expect
Events are walks, a book club and social outings, each with its own card on the Heylo page. The group's aim, as its site presents it, is helping women move more and meet others. Joining is free.
Tips for your first visit
- Read the event card for the date and any meeting details before you sign up.
- Pick a walk that matches your pace from the upcoming list.
Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: The site's Join us button leads to the sign-up page and events are open to women in the city, but the site does not describe how newcomers are welcomed..
