What they do

Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Fill out the Philly LIFTS interest form linked from the services page, or call Carla Calabrese at (215) 776-4406 about the new mothers' support group..
You need to sign up first.
What to expect
Your first step is a form or a phone call with program staff, who connect families to referrals and support groups. The new mothers' support group is described as a safe, non-judgmental space.
Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: A public city program with named staff and an interest form for families, though the pages do not describe what a first meeting is like..
