Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Come to a free monthly Self-Care Saturday, or email phillypeacepark@gmail.com to ask about the next volunteer day..

What to expect

Self-Care Saturdays are free and held monthly, with activities such as yoga, fitness, art therapy and cooking. The campus is a set of gardens, so expect plants and outdoor space. The weekly market features local sellers of items such as soap and candles, many made from garden harvests.

Newcomer welcome

Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Free public programs at an open site, with an email address to ask questions, though the site does not say it welcomes newcomers..

Cost and commitment

Cost
