You can just show up. You need to sign up first.
What to expect
Performers sign up when they arrive and get a three minute slot to read poems, prose, or other short pieces. The room is student run and also open to people who only want to listen. The listing does not say what it costs or how many readers take part.
Tips for your first visit
- Register on the online form ahead of time if you plan to attend.
- Arrive early enough to sign the podium sheet if you want to read.

Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Anyone can sign up at the podium for a three minute slot, but the listing asks attendees to register online first and does not say that beginners are welcome..
