What they do

Come to Sunday or weekday Mass, join the Wednesday young adults and grad students group, take a FOCUS Bible study, or sign up for the homeless outreach team or other service. Adults over 16 who want to become Catholic can join the OCIA program, which meets on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.

When and where

Sunday Masses at 9 am, 11:30 am and 5:30 pm. Weekday Mass in the Newman Chapel at 12:05 pm, plus 5:30 pm Tuesday to Friday during the school year. The young adults and grad students group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm, and OCIA classes meet on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 pm during the 2026 to 2027 year.

Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Come to a Sunday Mass, then join the Wednesday 6:30 pm young adults and grad students group at the Newman Center, 111 South 38th Street..

Mass is free and open to anyone, with Sunday Masses at 9 am, 11:30 am and 5:30 pm. The young adults and grad students group meets each Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Newman Center, where the site says members grow in faith and serve others together.
