Your first visit
Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.
First step: Buy a ticket to one of the upcoming concerts, starting with a Philadelphia date, using the link on that concert's own page, or join the email list to hear about new dates..
You can just show up.
What to expect
A concert is a seated performance by a professional choir, often in a church such as St. Mark's in Center City or the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. The program is new music, and some concerts include other musicians or staging, such as an installation at the Fabric Workshop and Museum. The upcoming page does not give the length of a concert, so check the event page before you buy.
Tips for your first visit
- Use the ticket link on the concert's own page, since prices and seating are set per event.
- Check the start time on your event page, because the season ranges from afternoon to evening starts.
- Email info@crossingchoir.org with access questions, since the site lists no access details.
Newcomer welcome
Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Concerts are open to the public, and each date has its own ticket page. The site does not describe any way to sing with the choir, so this rating covers attending only..
