Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Come during open hours: Thursdays 4 to 6 pm, or Fridays through Sundays noon to 6 pm. The website also has a mailing list sign-up, but the page does not say whether you need it to visit..

You can just show up. No sign up needed.

What to expect

Open hours let you see the current exhibition on the third floor, which runs October 2 to November 15, 2026. The site does not state an admission charge for open hours. Performances and screenings have their own times, and some are ticketed.

Tips for your first visit

  • If you need the ramp, call 215-238-1236 or email events@voxpopuligallery.org before you come.
  • Check the events page for performances and screenings, which have their own times and tickets.
  • The gallery spaces use window air conditioners, not central air.
  • To visit outside open hours, email director@voxpopuligallery.org to book an appointment.

Newcomer welcome

Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: Open to the public on set days, with a clear events calendar and a mailing list. Internships, board seats and open calls are listed, but no beginner or volunteer program is..

Cost and commitment

Cost
Cost not known yet. The site does not state an admission price for open hours. Some events are ticketed, and optional giving to the Vox Circle starts at $5 a month.

Access and languages

Wheelchair access
Partly wheelchair accessible
Languages spoken
We do not know yet which languages are spoken.
Access notes
Reaching the first floor landing takes five steps from the street, and the passenger elevator starts there. Its door is 29 inches wide, so it may not fit every wheelchair or motorized chair. The third floor has no further steps. A ramp is available if you contact the gallery ahead. Personal care attendants and service animals are welcome. The restroom door is 34 inches wide and has grab bars, but the page does not say whether the restroom is step free.
