Your first visit

Feeling unsure the first time is normal. Most groups are glad when someone new walks in.

First step: Email writersroom@drexel.edu or call 215.571.3671 to ask for the start time and sign-up steps for the next Second Tuesday workshop..

What to expect

Second Tuesday is a monthly workshop at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships, where Drexel students and neighbors take part together. The site does not say how long a session lasts, what time it starts, or whether you need to sign up in advance, so ask the team these questions before you go.

Tips for your first visit

  • Ask for the start time and the room before you go, since the site does not list them.
  • The homepage newsletter form shows a notice that it may not be working yet, so email is the more reliable way to get updates.

Newcomer welcome

Fine for newcomers, but you may need to speak up (3 out of 5). Why we say this: The site says everything is free and open to all, and it gives an email and phone number for questions. It does not say how to sign up for Second Tuesday or whether you must register in advance..

Cost and commitment
